Lazia, 30 May 2020 — The Censorate has launched an investigation into the political independence of Twitter, an operational follow-up to the 2019 Stop Shadowbanning and other forms of Internet Censorship Act.

The inquiry was an operational follow-up to the 2019 Stop Shadowbanning and other forms of Internet Censorship Act, under which platforms were to prove their political neutrality or face greater liability for user content. It reflected a persistent Mahusetan concern with the conduct of large technology companies, pursued in a string of measures and public statements.
