Lazia, 12 January 2019 — The Lazian Chamber has formalised a calendar of ten public holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Valentine's Day, Good Friday, Easter, Liberation Day, Mahuset Day, Flag Day, Constitution Day and King's Day. Proposals to add Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha were voted down by 4 to 1 each on 21 January.

The calendar formalised ten public holidays, from New Year’s Day and Mahuset Day to Constitution Day and King’s Day. Proposals to add Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha were voted down later that month, by four to one each — one of a number of occasions on which the Confederation declined to extend official status to particular religious observances.
