Lazia, 21 January 2016 — Negotiations for the Act of the Establishment of the Chamber of Commerce have been extended because of technical difficulties at the presidency in Ihuset.

The delay was attributed to equipment problems at the presidency, then seated in the County of Ihuset — a recurring difficulty in the Confederation’s earliest months, when much of the machinery of state depended on the personal hardware of a handful of officials. The Chamber of Commerce was intended to regulate and promote commercial activity within the young Confederation.
