Lazia, 13 December 2019 — The Confederation of Mahuset has formally abandoned the NeoAllemanian Calendar, under which the year was numbered 6961 AN, the head of state stating that his "ideas for it were too impractical".
Under the abandoned scheme the year had been numbered 6961 AN; the head of state, conceding that his ideas for it had been too impractical, returned the Confederation to conventional dating. It was a rare instance of Mahuset quietly retiring one of its own more elaborate inventions.
