Lazia, 26 August 2026 — A claim has circulated that the Confederation of Mahuset once had plans to open an official account on an adult video platform, in imitation of another micronation. The Courant van Lazia has examined the record.
Did Mahuset once consider an official account on an adult video platform?
The Confederation did weigh the idea, in imitation of a fellow micronation, but no account was ever created.

The record bears the claim out as a proposal, and no further than that. Lostisland, a micronation Mahuset has long recognised, had at one point registered an official account on Pornhub, and did so before that platform tightened its rules on uploads. Mahuset’s recognition of Lostisland was reaffirmed on 9 November 2016, when the Lazian Chamber voted to keep it during a wider review of the Confederation’s recognitions; the record of that review describes Lostisland as “among the more established micronations with which Mahuset maintained ties”. Mahuset considered following that example and decided against it. No Mahusetan account was ever created.
The claim is therefore accurate as far as it goes: an official account on an adult video platform was indeed contemplated, and it was contemplated in imitation of Lostisland. What the bare claim leaves out are the two qualifications that decide how it should be read. The proposal was never carried out, and it was weighed after a fellow micronation had registered an official account there, under rules the platform has since tightened. Put without either qualification, the claim invites a conclusion the record does not support, which is why it carries a “Needs more context” badge. We rate it True.
