Lazia, 7 November 2019 — President Emiel van der Huijsen has ordered all Mahusetan flags flown at half-staff to mark Victims of Communism Memorial Day for the first time, in honour of those killed or oppressed under 20th-century communist regimes.

The observance, marked for the first time, saw Mahusetan flags flown at half-staff in honour of those killed or oppressed under 20th-century communist regimes. It was of a piece with the Confederation’s declared anti-communism, expressed elsewhere in its commemoration of Karnia-Ruthenia’s Martyr’s Day and the anti-communist cast of much of its foreign policy.
