Lazia, 6 July 2019 — The Mahusetan government has begun to consider moving its online chat services off Discord, following an outage on 2 July. Discord serves as the community hub for citizens and the de facto platform for the Lazian Chamber.

President Emiel van der Huijsen expressed scepticism over Discord's reliability. Alternatives under discussion include a Mattermost server, Slack, IRC, a return to Skype or Facebook, or a specialised forum, though a replacement would have to be as accessible as Discord.
