Lazia, 17 January 2018 — An independent Mahusetan press has been established, with the publisher Bleu Ultramarine SM and the press agency Independent Press General FM launching the Lænsche Courier-Post and the Icelynne Gazette. Further titles — the Husetaensche Stadstyding, the Mærsch Dagblad, Yore, and the Daily Executive — are expected to follow.
The venture, launched by the publisher Bleu Ultramarine SM and the agency Independent Press General FM, was an early attempt to give the Confederation a press beyond the official Courant van Lazia. It faltered quickly — most of its planned titles never appeared, and only two articles were published before it fell dormant — though the publisher would announce plans to relaunch its papers in 2019.
