Lazia, 14 November 2021 — The Mahusetan Institute for Censuses has been renamed the Federal Statistics and Census Bureau.

The renaming gave the Confederation’s statistics body a title closer to that of a national statistical office, part of the steady formalisation of Mahusetan institutions. The bureau was responsible for the censuses on which the Confederation’s small but closely counted population figures rested.
