Lazia, 8 July 2019 — The Lazian Bank has unveiled the designs of its new Leo banknotes, the Denirian series, at the official Mahusetan Discord server — the first full series of Mahusetan banknotes since the introduction of the Leo in 2017, and since the Landmark series of Vetriana-Guldas in 2014.
Designed by the Mahusetan Institute for the Arts, the Confederation’s designer of banknotes, and presented on the bank’s behalf by President Emiel van der Huijsen, the notes carry on their obverses several of the fauna found in and around the Confederation’s constituent entities, and on their reverses vintage engravings of different women, meant to represent the diversity of the Mahusetan people. The ƒ1, ƒ2, ƒ5 and ƒ10 notes had been released some months earlier, together with a poster of the finished designs.
“Designing these new banknotes has proven to be a great opportunity and wonderful journey,” the president said. “I’m sure my fellow Mahusetans will be proud of using our banknotes when they get these notes in their hands.”
