Lazia, 28 June 2026 — Lord-Mouser Thor, the Confederation of Mahuset’s most senior feline official, has again drawn admiration for his accomplished napping.
Thor, whose office dates to the Chief Mouser Act of 2016, has become one of the more beloved figures of Mahusetan public life. A decree of the Chadly Chancery, citing his “cute and stunning appearance”, declared his birthday a national holiday and granted cats in public office the formal style of “gentlenyan”.
Photographs of the Lord-Mouser at rest have become a recurring fixture of the Confederation’s cultural coverage. Officials have not commented on whether his napping constitutes an official function, though few in Lazia appear to begrudge him the repose.
