Lazia and Corinium Terentium, 6 June 2025 — The Confederation of Mahuset and the Commonwealth of Austenasia have ratified a Treaty of Mutual Recognition, Bilateral Relations and Friendship, affirming each other's sovereignty and establishing formal diplomatic relations.
The treaty comes as Austenasia's Prime Minister, Chad Andrew Musgrave, has declared the imperial throne vacant, citing the conduct of Emperor Aggelos I. Lord-Stadtholder Chad Emiel van der Huijsen backed Musgrave, condemning the "treasonous conduct of Emperor Aggelos" and pledging support for constitutional order. The treaty provides for mutual recognition, peaceful dispute resolution, bilateral cooperation and non-interference.
