Lazia, 25 October 2022 — Chad President Emiel van der Huijsen has congratulated Rishi Sunak on becoming prime minister of the United Kingdom, the first British Asian and the first Hindu to hold the office.
"We congratulate Prime Minister Sunak on a historic appointment, and wish him a steady course through difficult times," the president said.
