Lazia, 9 September 2022 — The Confederation of Mahuset has declared a period of national mourning following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, who died on 8 September aged 96. The mourning follows the condolences extended by the head of state to the United Kingdom and the rest of the Commonwealth on the day of her death.
The Confederation entered national mourning the day after the Queen’s death, following the condolences the head of state had extended to the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. The mourning marked the passing of a monarch to whom Mahuset, in the manner of many micronations, accorded particular respect.
