Lazia, 5 January 2019 — President Emiel van der Huijsen has formally repealed eight treaties of mutual recognition signed with now-extinct nations, voiding Mahusetan recognition of the Noble Republic of Lurk, the Khanate of Nedland, the Kingdom of Coria, the Federal Republic of Stravinia, the Shorewellese Empire, the Kingdom of Custosia, the Florian Republic and the Popular Union of Occitania.

The repeal tidied the Confederation’s diplomatic register, voiding recognitions extended in 2016 and 2017 to states that had since ceased to exist. Among them were partners of Mahuset’s early treaty-making — Lurk, Nedland, Coria, Stravinia, Shorewell, Custosia, the Florian Republic and Occitania — several of whose collapses had already featured in Mahusetan affairs.
