Lazia, 19 November 2021 — The National Convention of 2019 has dropped the MELP standard for number plates; the strip bearing the Mahusetan flag and the letters "MI" will now always be blue rather than black.

Lazia, 19 November 2021 — The National Convention of 2019 has dropped the MELP standard for number plates; the strip bearing the Mahusetan flag and the letters "MI" will now always be blue rather than black.
Under the change the strip on Mahusetan number plates bearing the national flag and the letters “MI” was to be permanently blue rather than black. It was a characteristically exacting piece of Mahusetan standardisation, of the sort the Confederation applied to everything from its units of measurement to the format of its laws.
