Lazia, 21 June 2022 — The Ministry of Digital Affairs has been split off from what was the Ministry of Education, Digital Affairs, Culture, Sport and Science.
The new ministry took the Confederation’s digital portfolio out of the sprawling Ministry of Education, Digital Affairs, Culture, Sport and Science. A dedicated digital ministry would go on to become one of the more vocal arms of the Mahusetan government, condemning and welcoming shifts in international technology policy.
