Lazia, 30 August 2025 — The National Convention of 2019 has abolished its COVID-19 task force, closing the arc the Confederation opened in early 2020.
The National Convention wound up the task force it had created in early 2020 to monitor the coronavirus, closing an arc that had run through quarantine rules, mask mandates and years of pandemic commentary. Its abolition marked the formal end of the Confederation’s COVID-19 chapter.
