Kersbergen, 22 June 2019 — The Commission of Statute on Interim Matsian Governance has adopted a new Matsian flag, designed by the Mahusetan Institute of Vexillology, as a compromise between the flags of Matsia under the Kingdom and under the Confederation. It is the first Matsian flag since XO's departure, replacing a temporary ensign used for twenty-four days.
The flag, designed by the Institute of Vexillology as a compromise between Matsia’s ensigns under the Kingdom and under the Confederation, replaced a temporary flag flown for just twenty-four days. Its adoption was among the first acts of the interim commission established to govern Matsia after XO — the state’s founder — revoked his citizenship and left.
