Lazia, 16 October 2016 — Mahuset has adopted official acronyms for all titles and branches; examples include LC for the Lazian Chamber, CoM for the Confederation of Mahuset and CM for the Chief Mouser.
The standardisation of acronyms was a small but characteristic act of the young Confederation’s institution-building, giving its offices and bodies the fixed abbreviations of an established bureaucracy. It accompanied the founding, at the same session, of a dedicated Institute for Normalisation and Standardisation to regulate such matters.
