Lazia, 30 May 2026 — The National Convention of 2019 has appointed Chad Zabëlle Lunarius Skye-Greys as Ambassador-at-Large to the MicroWiki community, in a renewed effort to strengthen Mahuset's diplomatic, cultural and informational presence in the wider sector.
The appointment grants Skye-Greys a broad mandate to represent Mahuset in community-facing discussions, maintain informal channels with friendly and neutral entities, and defend the reputation of the state against misinformation, procedural weirdness and Redditesque behaviour.
In a statement, the National Convention said Skye-Greys had demonstrated "clarity of judgement, civic seriousness, and a commendable resistance to nonsense" in previous public activity.
The new office will operate alongside existing diplomatic structures but will not replace ordinary bilateral representation. Officials said the role was intended to provide flexibility in areas where formal embassy-style relations were either impractical or "likely to produce more drama than benefit".
The Ministry for General Affairs said the appointment reflected the need for a more consistent Mahusetan voice in the MicroWiki sphere, particularly following renewed disputes involving Aggelosite commentary, anti-Chad rhetoric and attempts to launder factional grudges through pseudo-neutral procedural language.
"Mahuset remains committed to constructive engagement," the ministry said. "However, constructive engagement does not require silence in the face of libel, cringe, or attempts to pretend that obvious nonsense is merely a difference of interpretation."
Observers said the appointment marked a further step in the professionalisation of Mahuset's external relations. Earlier disputes were often handled through direct public rebuttals, but recent reforms have increasingly placed such matters within defined offices, mandates and procedural frameworks.
The National Convention also praised Skye-Greys as "a Chad of recognised standing", saying the appointment combined diplomatic confidence with the "necessary moral courage to deal with the MicroWiki community without immediately losing the will to live". The Chadly Chancery is expected to update the register of civic honours and offices to reflect the appointment.
