Van der Huijsen renews backing for Austenasia's government

Lazia, 1 October 2025 — Chad Lord-Stadtholder Emiel van der Huijsen has renewed Mahuset's support for the constitutional government of Austenasia under Chad Lord-Protector Andrew Musgrave, following the abdication of "Emperor" Aggelos from what he called the "illegal Aggelosite rump government".

Van der Huijsen dismissed the rival Aggelosite faction, led until recently by Lord John Gordon, as the product of "seething and malding" by resentful former office-holders, but struck a conciliatory note, saying the abdication "removes the last vestige of ambiguity" and opened space for reconciliation under the lawful government.
