Mamucium, 19 October 2019 — The National Convention of 2019 has reorganised the Council of Ministers, cutting the number of ministries from 22 to 12 to streamline the government. Some ministries were kept, others merged; the change took effect on 2 October.

The reorganisation, effective from 2 October, streamlined the executive by keeping some ministries, merging others and abolishing the rest. It was one of a series of structural reforms carried through by the National Convention as it settled into its role as the Confederation’s de facto government.
