Mahuset adopts the metric system

Lazia, 16 October 2016 — Mahuset has adopted slightly updated metric units, under the Standardisation of Units Act.

The Standardisation of Units Act was among the measures passed at the Lazian Chamber’s first full session. In adopting metric units, the Confederation aligned itself with the international standard and with the practice of the Netherlands, within whose territory much of Mahuset’s claimed land lies.
