Mahuset establishes relations with Hasanistan

Lazia, 14 May 2017 — The Confederation of Mahuset has established diplomatic relations with the State of Hasanistan, following a Hasani request. The treaty was drafted by President Emiel van der Huijsen.

Hasanistan, the state founded by Hasan Çakar, would become Mahuset’s closest ally. The relationship deepened over the years that followed — through statements of solidarity, a sister-city pact between the capitals of Lazia and Deñizabat, and Çakar’s own rise to become Mahusetan prime minister — and gave its name, alongside Van der Huijsen’s, to the Batyr Bloc’s oldest alliance.
