Mahuset signs the Montediszamble Convention

Lazia, 23 November 2021 — The Confederation of Mahuset has become a signatory of the Montediszamble Convention, a treaty on civility in diplomacy. "Civility in diplomacy and similar areas is necessary for micronationalism to be functional as a hobby," the Confederation said in support of the treaty's goals.

In acceding to the treaty on civility in diplomacy, Mahuset said that “civility in diplomacy and similar areas is necessary for micronationalism to be functional as a hobby”. The signature placed the Confederation among the states pledged to a more courteous conduct of intermicronational affairs, a theme it pursued elsewhere through bodies opposed to what it called “Redditesque” behaviour.
