Lazia, 4 December 2021 — The National Convention of 2019 has abolished the official legal status of the Patron Saint, preferring to leave the matter to appropriate religious institutions.
The National Convention removed the official legal status of the Patron Saint, preferring to leave the matter to the appropriate religious institutions. The decision was of a piece with a broader Mahusetan tidying of its symbolic apparatus, which around the same time stripped official status from the national folk dance, gemstone and stone.
Edited for the relaunch of the Courant van Lazia.
