Lazia, 4 December 2021 — The National Convention of 2019 has abolished the official legal status of the Patron Saint, preferring to leave the matter to appropriate religious institutions. The move forms part of a broader tidying of the Confederation's symbolic apparatus, which has also stripped official status from the national folk dance, gemstone and stone.
