The satirical micronation's creator and former Mahusetan politician has died.

He was also known by the pseudonyms Natsuki Hegro and Ned Gunderson.
In Mahuset he was best known for his part in ending the federal government shutdown of 2016–17. Above all, though, he was known as the founder of Nedland, the micronation he established in 2014.
Nedland was noted for its satirical and absurdist character: its bizarre flags, its oddly named territories and the great number of ethnic groups it claimed among its citizens. Proposals for a merger of Mahuset and Nedland were discussed between 2016 and 2017, but the union never materialised, owing to differences between the two leaderships.
Greiner took part in other micronations, among them Abelden, Austenasia, Brennonia, Hasanistan, Hortania, Karnia-Ruthenia, Mercia and Pavlov. He also developed the Micropages on MicroWiki as a directory of micronations.
He later left micronationalism and dissolved Nedland, citing the toxicity he believed existed in the intermicronational community. Despite some controversies, he was well regarded within that community throughout his years of activity.
