Lazia, 14 September 2025 — The government has created the Office for Architecture and Design (Ambt voor Architectuur en Design) under the Ministry for General Affairs, to coordinate policy on design, heraldry and civic symbolism.

The office will supervise the College of Arms and the Mahusetan Institute for Vexillology, both of which continue to exist, and will advise on ceremonial insignia and architectural standards for public buildings.
