Privacy Statement
What information the Courant van Lazia collects when you use this site, and how we treat it.
What we collect
The Courant collects as little as possible. We store your language and display preferences in your browser so the site remembers them; no account is needed to read.
If you sign up for alerts
If you sign up for alerts we keep your email address, the topics you tick and the language you signed up in. Nothing else: no IP address, no browser details, no tracking id. We do not sell or share any of it, and we use it only to send the alerts you asked for. Nothing is being sent yet.
Every sign-up gets an unsubscribe link from the moment it exists. It removes your address completely; we keep nothing afterwards, not even a record of who unsubscribed. If you have lost your link, write to the editorial staff through the contact page.
How we use it
Preferences are used only to present the site as you left it. We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising trackers.
Third-party services
Some features — such as the weather and, for now, placeholder images — are provided by third parties, whose own privacy terms apply when their content loads.
Your choices
You can clear the preferences we store at any time through your browser settings. See our Cookie Policy for detail. Alerts are cancelled through the unsubscribe link carried in every message.
