Lazia, 9 November 2016 — The Mahusetan Institute for History and Archiving (Dutch: Mahusetaans Instituut voor Geschiedenis en Archievering) has been established, responsible for the archival, storage and access of government and historic documents.
Charged with the storage of and access to government and historic documents, the institute reflected the Confederation’s early concern with recording its own past — a concern that would culminate in the 2016–17 government shutdown, called in part to compile and publish the state’s accumulated laws.
