Lazia, 16 October 2016 — The Mahusetan Institute for Normalisation and Standardisation (Dutch: Mahusetaans Instituut voor Normering en Standaardisatie) has been established, responsible for the regulation, establishment and publication of standards in all technical fields.

The institute was charged with the regulation, establishment and publication of standards across all technical fields — from units of measurement to the format of the Confederation’s laws, for which it would adopt a standard template in 2017. It was one of several bodies created at the Lazian Chamber’s first full session.

Edited for the relaunch of the Courant van Lazia.
