Lord-Stadtholder confers Chad on Johannes Karl and Edward of Mercia

Two intermicronational figures join the honours roll.

Lazia, 22 May 2026 — Chad Lord-Stadtholder Emiel van der Huijsen has granted the title of Chad to Johannes Karl, King of the Angle-Saxish Kingdom and soon to become Emperor of Austenasia, and to Edward of Mercia, described as "a well esteemed colleague formerly of the entity known as Mercia".

The Chadly Chancellery cited "outstanding contributions to ethics and national development", noting Johannes Karl's role in institutional continuity and diplomacy and Edward's "ethical seriousness, steadiness of conduct, and constructive participation in national life".
