Lazia, 9 November 2016 — The Lazian Chamber has voted against recognition of Donetsk, with three votes opposed.
The vote against recognition of the Donetsk People’s Republic came at the same sitting that saw Mahuset recognise Abkhazia, South Ossetia, Transnistria and Nagorno-Karabakh, but decline both Donetsk and Luhansk. The Confederation thereby drew a line between the older post-Soviet frozen conflicts and the more recent Ukrainian separatist entities.
