Lazia, 16 October 2016 — The Lazian Chamber has voted against recognition of Palestine, with two votes in favour, two abstaining and one opposed.
The motion was among the recognition questions settled at the Lazian Chamber’s first full session, and one of the few to be rejected. Where the chamber extended recognition to Kosovo, Taiwan and Somaliland, it declined, on a split vote, to acknowledge the State of Palestine.
