Lazia, 10 October 2016 — The Confederation of Mahuset has established diplomatic relations with the Khanate of Nedland, following a Nedlandic request.
The Khanate of Nedland, led by Natsuki Hegro, would become one of Mahuset’s most closely entangled neighbours. The two states signed a treaty of free travel the same month and later opened negotiations on a political union, to be styled “Mahuso-Nedland”; those talks collapsed over the titles of the leadership and a common flag, and Nedland’s recognition was among the eight voided in 2019.
