Lazia, 18 July 2016 — The Confederation of Mahuset has established diplomatic relations with the Abeldane Empire, following an Abeldane request. The treaty was drafted by President Emiel van der Huijsen.
The Abeldane Empire would become one of the Confederation’s more significant early partners, though relations were not always smooth. The following year they froze altogether after the Mahusetan head of state was banned from the Abeldane national chat over accusations — which Mahuset called false — of spying for the Shorewellese Empire, in an episode known in Mahuset as Spygate.
