Lazia, 9 November 2016 — The Lazian Chamber has voted to recognise Transnistria, recognising its sovereignty over the strip of land between the Dniester river and the Ukrainian border.

The recognition acknowledged Transnistria’s sovereignty over the strip of land between the Dniester and the Ukrainian border. It was one of four post-Soviet breakaway states recognised that day, all of which the Confederation would repudiate in 2022 in the wake of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
