Lazia, 9 November 2016 — The Lazian Chamber has voted to recognise Vatican City, recognising its sovereignty over Catholic Rome and the Holy See.
The recognition acknowledged the sovereignty of the Holy See over Vatican City. It was settled at the same busy November sitting of the Lazian Chamber that produced a series of recognitions and rejections of contested states across Europe and the Caucasus.
